　 The focus of this book is revising and rewriting academic manuscripts. It also covers the topic of rewriting across many academic fields.

　 This explains the basic elements of academic writing in an easy-to-read fashion.

　 The approach of the book is to teach writing as a process. This is a very popular book among students.
