Student Development Through AWC 

Academic Writing Center (AWC) is dedicated to fostering student writers who are independent, capable of producing internationally acceptable texts, and possess universal writing skills. We provide writing assistance for undergraduate and graduate students and conduct research to advance this mission.

AWC is not a place for proofreading or native checking. Instead, trained graduate student tutors engage in "dialogue" with writers so they can consider their writing process. Through this assistance, we support writers in recognizing and thinking about the issues in their writing and how to make their writing better.
