Using PC

OPAC terminal

Library PC for OPAC (Online Library Catalog) search are available to the library users. You can search items by titles and authors and check locations and loan status of the items via the terminal.

Internet search terminals

Library PC connected to the Internet are available in the first floor and the basement. The purpose of use is limited to search of academic information such as online datebase and thesis/report preparation(for personal such as email and job hunting, please use the PC rooms).
Educational research PC can only be used by students(including Women’s Junior College students) and faculty members.
ID and PWD are the same as the PC rooms. If setting has been done already, procedure in the library is not necessary. First timer users are required to change the passwprd. For further details, refer to Information Media Center Home Page(in Japanese only) or ask at the Support Lounge in Building No,2 first floor.

Printing

Printing stations are located in the ground floor and the basement. These can be used when you want to print out OPAC and Internet search results etc. You will need to charge in advance.

CD-ROM search terminals

Information search areas has terminals for CD/DVD-ROM datebase search in the first floor. For printing, use the print stations. 

Wireless LAN

Wireless LAN is available in the first floor to third floor reading areas on the High school ground side and the basement.

Information outlet

Information outlets are available in multimedia room in the first floor and group reading room in the third floor, where you can access the Internet on your laptop.

Using PC except in the allowed areas is not permitted because it may disturb others.

Library Study Room in Building No.8

The library study room located on the first floor of building No,8 facing the Main Library is a space where you can learn freely. Please ensure the notice check and the opening calendar as the opening day and opening time are different from the Main Library.

University students and teaching staffs can use the room by presenting the student ID card or the faculty ID card.

The area is divided into two and can use wireless LAN.

-Self study area

-Communication area

You can freely arrange whiteboards, desks and chairs for group work.

Available facilities in the Library Study Room:

-AV library for auditory materials(No check out service)

Some video materials can’t be viewed without reacher’s license due to copylight restrictions, so please ask at the counter for details.

Group Reading Rooms (Main Library Third Floor)

Group Study Rooms (Study room in Building No.9)

Rooms are available for a group of  more than three.

Reservation is accepted a week ahead.
