Aoyama Gakuin Women’s Junior College suspended student recruitment in April, 2019, thus Aoyama Gakuin Women’s Junior College Library will permanently close at the end of March, 2022.
Since its opening, numerous members including students, academics and alumnae of Aoyama Gakuin Women’s Junior College have been using the Library. We are deeply grateful to all of our users for their continuous support.
Most of its collections are to be relocated to Aoyama Gakuin University Libraries – Main Library in Aoyama campus and Mandai Memorial Library in Sagamihara campus.
Closure information
■Opening Date
Aoyama Gakuin Women’s Junior College Library will be open until Thursday, 3 February 2022.
As of Friday, 4 February 2022, the Women’s Junior College Library will be closed to all users. However, library staff will continue to work at the closed facility through the spring breaks, to compete closure of the Library with conducting inventory and transferring the collection to other locations.
■Borrow Items
If you need to borrow items from the Women’s Junior College Library, you should check them out by Thursday, 3 February 2022.
You may request to deliver items from the Women’s Junior College Library to Mandai Memorial Library (Sagamihara campus) until 16:30 on Thursday, 3 February 2022.
■Final Due Date
You are required to return all your Women’s Junior College Library loans by Wednesday, 9 March 2022. Please be sure to return all the items by their due date.
■Return loans
After Thursday, 3 February 2022, items should be returned to the book post outside the Women’s Junior College Library, or to the University Libraries.
■Eligibility for the University Libraries: For Alumnae
Since the academic year 2021, Aoyama Gakuin Women’s Junior College alumnae have come to be eligible to use Aoyama Gakuin University Libraries, both Main Library in Aoyama campus and Mandai Memorial Library in Sagamihara campus. Available services are the same as for the University alumni.
